About Me

Hi, I'm Kevin.

Former IBM consultant. Stanford Product Design. A product designer who uses AI to amplify research, ideation, and prototyping, and to spend more time on the decisions that matter.

This whole website was designed and built in collaboration with Claude Code. That's not a footnote, it's how I work.

Three things about me

I start with people

Stanford's Product Design program grounded me in empathy: understanding needs, frustrations, and emotions before drawing a single screen.

I speak business

Years of consulting Fortune 500s at IBM taught me that great design has to survive contact with the business. Viability isn't a constraint. It's part of the craft.

I ship with AI

Claude is my daily collaborator, from first idea to a working, testable prototype. The AI is leverage; the design decisions stay mine.

My Journey

B.S. Industrial Engineering

Industrial Engineering taught me how systems shape human behavior. I've been designing systems ever since.

Helped Fortune 500 clients navigate digital transformation. Five multimillion-dollar programs later, I understood how products live or die inside a business.

M.S. Product Design

The Product Design program is where I found my craft: human-centered design, Design Thinking, and a research team sponsored by Hyundai exploring future mobility.

TIME Best Inventions 2023

Brought studio-grade EMS training into people's homes: safety systems, habit-building flows, and a redesign that fueled 41.9% MAU growth. TIME called it one of the Best Inventions of 2023.

Today I design a document intelligence platform for 51K monthly users, working shoulder-to-shoulder with founders, engineers, and AI.

What I Believe

Great design starts with understanding people deeply. It scales when designers solve for desirability, feasibility, and viability together. And it moves fastest when AI is part of the team.
